Haha, in all honesty, as much as I hate you and your BS, Tony, and as much as I can never take you seriously when you say things cause you've lyied so much in the past, I am glad that you got this movie thing. I'm not looking forward to seeing it or nothing, because I think that a movie about crusaders should have a much higher budget and should be made by people who aren't amatuer directors, but I am glad you got a chance to do this.

I just hope that Ben Williams doesn't like, appear there and then Tony goes "Oh, you remember that million dollar budget? Well, it's been cut down. We've got $400 now. ....Wanna go to McDonalds?"

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=focussed - 'focussed' is an alternate spelling... keep in mind i'm in Australia, that might be why I use that form.

Well BR, I have bullshitted in the past and you know why? In a stupid way, it made me feel better about myself. I don't get satisfaction from that nowadays though and tells things as they are - what's the point in making up crap? As for the budget I know we will have a healthy one particularly after this morning's meeting. It's not a movie about Crusaders but I do have an independent feature film already under my belt and everyone has to start somewhere -- I think Ben'll be great. AND... if we end up going to McDonalds with $400, at least that's a shitload of apple pies isn't it?

Yes I did and included a flashback sequence to some scenes from E&S because I wanted to have some of that to setup the Peter & Jodie characters and show some background to why she is with the Allies and not with her Nazi family anymore.

That's all Tony is really good at though. Hyping and bullshitting. So if you were ever going to succeed at something Tony. It would be a professional hyper, and a professional bullshitter. Honestly, if this "project" were serious. Why would you go into such lengths to announce it so early? You honestly believe you still have credibility anywhere? Especially here? You must be insane. This is just going to be another pathetic flop where you hang your head low while we all laugh you into Michaels cock.

Guys, even in the last few years, I have still contributed to the community by hosting and things like that. Fact is, you have to acknowledge that I made my filmmaking main priority for the last few years as for me that was my aspiration and was going to get me further than maintaining a Microsoft 3D Movie Maker website. In the community's history, many people have gone away for awhile because of having other stuff that had to get done and done well, my case was no different. I still tried to do little things though to assist.

I have developed what started as a 15 minute script into a feature that is being eyeballed by a Warner Bros producer and an international cable television channel as well as being monitored by film and newspaper media.

I announced it now knowing that the majority of you would be happy for Ben & I, because it is far further in pre-pre-production (actual term) then you probably imagine it to be and it is something that will happen. Some good news, that's all.

It's not "OMG! We're going to have a kajillion-dollar movie with Kiether Sutherland, Jude Law & Tom Hanks! it's gonna make squillions, we'll see you all at the Oscars in 2 years and be doing a shoutout to you all! w00t!1"

It's "Ben & I have this opportunity, I have some good contacts and talks happening and it's going to take awhile but will be our way up and into the industry proper."

That is all...

I remember 3dmm.tv was originally promised to come out on March 15, 2002. Then July 1. Then September 15. Then it was finally released sometime in March 2003 .

Heh. I think it took longer than that actually.

What can I say but that it wasn't a priority at the time but I ended up missing having a site going. March 2003 was when the main chunk of shooting began (for the next 9 months) so it WAS lousy timing on my part.

And it was made overnight, when you felt like not being a lazy bastard for a day. And got a bunch of other people to design it. I could of remade that entire site in about 20 minutes.

I believe 3DMM Metro or something was promised before that, but I wasn't here back then. I took a 9-month 3DMM hiatus moments after my seventh post on the EZBoard in April 2001.

No, I designed 3dmm.tv. Yeah, well, like I just said I was focussing on making the script as good as it could be and getting ready for it ... casting, gathering crew, production design etc - heaps to do. 3dmm wasn't a priority. Love & Valour was much more important through the whole preproduction/production period, there was a significant amount of money tied up in it apart from anything.

When I focus on things, I'm a perfectionist and I'm precisely that when anything to do with filmmaking is concerned. I like to focus on all the little details and all of them being done really well.

You're some perfectionist... You start things and then perfect them so much that you get tired of them and don't finish them up.

No, in the past, I just didn't have much patience for using 3DMM aside from getting Escape & Sacrifice done and a few other minor efforts. The frame-by-frame aspect just drove me nuts. If I sat down in 3dmm these days, it would be better as I'm more patient now.

Guys, just leave Tony alone for once...

I'd put a schitzophrenic joke here, but I can't think of one.

Tony used to blame a lot of stuff (like spamming, random insulting, etc) on "Michael", somebody he claims used to get on his computer and post under his name.

"Results 1 - 10 of about 120,000 for focussed [definition]. (0.13 seconds)"

Yep. A business site, government site, sports team site included.

Meh.

I might be in Vancouver as I have a friend who lives there and said that I can stay

Anyway, its a shame if projects don't get finished after being hyped so much, but I'm happy for Tony and indeed Ben if things go ahead

oh and i have the script to e&s too, its fairly good of what i read

Well, I'm confident about it, otherwise I wouldn't have started the thread. I will be having a meeting with the Australian Film Commission & my Warner Bros contact... quite sure Paul would also fly over for it. But after this morning, it seems like this producer is interested in doing it regardless.

I am offended by his presence.

I can't even single out exactly what it is about him that I loathe so singularly and thuroughly. I guess he just strikes me as a, well, a bitch.
