Ok, so the cops got me last night...

Me, Jye, Aaron & Eye Candy were driving to Pt Wakefield last night which is about 2 hours away from where we live. Well, the speed limit was 110km/hr and P-platers can only go 100km/hr.

Well, on the way to Pt Wakefield, I reached a PB of 185km/hr; it is a fairly straight road and that's all good. Anyway, some slut rang Jye and he wanted to go to her party.

So, we were driving back when I saw two cops on bikes. Well, I didn't know they were cops so I passed them at around 160km/hr. But they were going at least 120km/hr.

They were almost out of sight in my rearview mirror when they put on their lights and sirens. I pulled over. Eye Candy looked at me and said, 'There goes your licence'. I just thought, 'FUCK'.

I was told to get out of the car and I was fretting dick. The police officer says, 'The speed alone will cost you $300 and your licence. But we're going to forget about the speed. I noticed you passed us in the right lane and stayed there. The right lane is only for overtaking. Is there any reason as why you didn't get back in the left lane?". I was 'WTF'. Then he progressed on to say I was going at least 170km/hr and the speed limit is 110km/hr and I told him I was only doing 110km/hr and he didn't even say about P-platers only being able to do 100km/hr. Haha.

Then he hands me a fine for $136 (which is cool, Mr Prime Minister will pay for that). On the fine, he says, 'Failure to keep left". I just laughed. They pissed off and I just sat in the car for a while. I look at Eye Candy and realise she was wrong, for once.

Which brings me to the point that I have the best luck. I mean. I shouldn't have a licence right now. On the way home, Aaron was bitching saying, 'I went 70km in a 60km zone and got pulled over and you go 160km past cops and all you get is a fine".

It was fun. Even if there was about 3 kilos of shit in my pants.

The only imperial measurement people still use fairly commonly here is people's height - like, I know I'm 5'11", but I don't remember how much that is in centimetres. I think it's like 185cm or something.

However, I still find the metric system to absolutely pwn the imperial system. Twelve inches in a foot? What the fuck?
