I've always said athiesm is just plain flat out ignorant. If you're going to denounce religion. Be agnostic. At least believe in somthing so you're not completely screwed when you die, if by chance there is an afterlife.

Then you better start believing in magic elves if by chance there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. If we're going to talk about ignorance, please enlighten yourself on some basic logic.

ag·nos·ti·cism ( P ) Pronunciation Key (g-nst-szm)
n.

1. The doctrine that certainty about first principles or absolute truth is unattainable and that only perceptual phenomena are objects of exact knowledge.

2. The belief that there can be no proof either that God exists or that God does not exist.

I'd take that over a pot of ignorance. And logic in what sense would that be? The fact that I chose to believe in somthing or the fact that I don't shun everyone out who doesn't believe?

The last thing I want is to be apart of some big stupid religion debate. Becuase they are stupid and pointless, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. I don't like preaching either, in fact I hate people who preach. I am just saying, I was agnostic until I couldn't explain why the universe is created and why their are man and woman. What's the point? Wouldn't nature just have everyone be unisex? That'd be more logical if science were the creator.

With those confusing questions. I just took the train towards possibilities. Rather than the train towards nothing. Granted those possibilities could be the exact same thing. At least I tried. And it's better to have tried and failed than to not have tried at all.

That's a truth, not a belief but logically if there is no proof FOR or AGAINST something than it's not true.

Why would you not believe in a god, yet still fear one?

The only one ignorant here is you, dummy. You're equating atheism with something it's not.

It's just saying don't close your mind to the possibility.
