20th December , so i highly suggest getting it really soon

also , this is quite odd :

We will also change the license to remove the line that promises all future versions of the game for free. Please note that this change only affects people who buy the game after December 20, so if you got the game for during alpha, you will still get all future updates for free, despite this change. A promise is a promise.
Buying the game during beta will include all updates up until release, of course, and bug patches will be free.

so if you didnt buy it in alpha you would have to pay for bug patch's and updates?

i think from the beginning minecraft was always made to be paid like the full price of $49.99 or something but he's just been working on it from scratch and let the community play it

it's a win/lose situation -- it's a win because it can create a lot of income to work on it full-time but it's a lose because the fanbase is already there and so there's going to be less people paying for the full price.

Buying during beta = get everything up to and including release version for free. Expansions might cost.

The cost at final release will be about 20 euro (19.95, probably). Alpha = 50% off, all updates for free. Beta = 25% off.

Yeah, so Alpha was dirt-cheap and Beta will cost more but still be a little cheaper than the final product. Alpha and Beta customers get all the updates up to the full release and all bug fixes beyond the full release.
