We were really strong at the beginning -- possession was 80/20 at one point, and we looked comfortable and great, but our defense FUCKED UP at the beginning of the second half and was pretty miserable for the rest of the game. We almost scored a couple times (one off the crossbar god DAMNIT), but.. they almost scored a couple more times, too. Yikes.

EDIT: Swiss defense was really good, too.

well it's a crazy result. it's actually envisionable that spain could go out in this round... i'm sure that they'll win their next two games and avoid that but for example if they draw one of them, and switzerland beat honduras and chile beat switzerland... it's adios amigos =D unlikely, but feasible!

when i was like 12 i used to pretend to be casillas whenever i played in goal (that's not like weird psycho obsession roleplay, when you play football as a kid everyone picks a player to "be")

My friend claims that the US vs England game was rigged. it kind of makes sense, since football is so big in America this year, that they rig it so that America can go further in the game.

haha, I was just posting that video to be a dick. Diving has been happening a lot in hockey lately and it's really pissing me off. Even if they're called on it and get a card or whatever, they should be banned from the World Cup.
