What still needs to be done in 3dmm.....

Yep, a few things that would still be cool to see:

1. A roller coaster scene. Root Pie had one...it wasn't bad, but that one can very easily be topped. Please, somebody!! Make a damn roller coaster scene! Have a nice long shot of the huge drops and loops, and have some kick ass 1st person POV's of the coaster.

A coaster scene would be super cool to see in 3dmm. Someone do it! I once attempted to make aroller coaster scene myself.....unsurprisingly it failed badly. I think a while back Redwampa actually sounded willing to make a coaster scene for one of my movies, but I never followed up and asked him to do it. It was just kinda like, "yeah I'd do one for you if you asked"

okay

2. An action scene in an amusement park. That'd be cool. An action scene taking place on a ferris wheel would be fuckin intense.

3. Based on the events recently of Goro closing a topic on skinning a squirrel, to be rebellious, someone make a brutally graphic scene in 3dmm of an animal getting brutally skinned and gutted to death. That'll easily take hom e a best gore award.

That is all.

Someone should make a roller coaster scene, assuming they can find a roller coaster model.

Watch Root Pie dude....the roller coaster scene in that is pretty cool. At the time of its release, it was damn amazing actually.

I just think that nowadays ppl could top it.

1. It was a raccoon.
2. You're such a drama queen.
3. Redwampa already did it.

However, the amusement park stuff would be awesome.

I remember either Pozin or Pikios tried to start a Roller Coaster Animation Contest a few months back, and, like, only two people entered, tops. I wonder how it looked

I am slowly getting to the point to where I will start a video/POV of a coaster in 3dmm. My 3dmm folder is filled with little tests I have done trying diffrent ways on making the track and stuff. I even made a model of a tie to use. But yeah, I will make one soon.

And then the amusement park; its not an action scene, but I am working on an overview of a small amusement park. Guess that's the step in that direction.

I agree. It was be good. It'd take a good director to pull it off well.

1. Whoops, my bad.
2. I'm joking around buddy. In actuality, an animal skinned in 3dmm wouldn't interest me that much.
3. I can't believe I forgot about Redwampa. Well...it wasn't that graphic though from what I remember.

And as for a good reason to have a coaster scene...I imagined it being like a comedy about friendships, or maybe a date having the two people goin on a coaster.

Or if you wanna go all out on special effects, have a good bit with a coaster...then have technical break downs and have the coaster unexpectedly fly off the track...

I was trying to think of an action scene with a coaster, but that'd be tough. A ferris wheel action scene would be more kick ass.

#2 wasn't actually serious. At least, not in a hateful way.

As for a premise, I'd love to see a Die Hard-esque terrorist takeover happen at an amusement park in at least one film. Maybe a high-ranking political official could be there with his niece or something. I dunno, someone could come up with some reason. Anything to have a ton of guests all kept locked inside, panda bear mascots being shot to death in the crossfire, various rides used for cover/interesting deaths, etc.

Another idea I just thought up....

Have a go-karting track right beside the coaster. Have a terrorist place a bomb on the go-kart track, someone drives over the bomb, explosion, the car goes flying into the air and collides with a coaster while it's going through a loop.

Might seem a little unrealstic, but would look fuckin cool.

The terrorist could be a disgruntled clown that wants to fuck with the park for firing him. He could detonate a bomb on the supports of the ferris wheel and send it rolling forward through a circus tent or something, crushing the people still on it as it rolls over them.

I'd like to see that then. Someone contact Jpro and ask him to post it...or maybe he should incorporate it into one of his movies.

I wrote a script based on a Chuck Palahniuk short story idea he told me that I haven't shown anyone. I am not sure if it is possible in 3DMM though.

I remember making a roller coaster scene once for my epic Fat Cop 4 movie which production has ceased on. It was actually pretty badass for the year I made it and my skills with 3dmm. I'll try and crop it out of the movie.

That's what I live for. To do stuff noone's done in 3dmm before. I think that's what made Rotisserie Chicken such a huge hit. because noone had done it before.
