I couldn't believe the entire film. The screenshots had potential, and the first few minutes looked like it was going to get better, but it is a waste of time! The guy who added his film to the database, said that it was 80 minutes long, and it took a week to complete it. In fact, it's thrice as long as 80 minutes! If there is one reward Funny Bones can get, it would be the Guinness World Record for the Longest 3DMM Movie of all time, 240 minutes in total, which is FOUR BLOODY HOURS, and if you thought Avatar was long, you have not witnessed the monstrosity of The Theater.
The voice acting is terrible, the use of v3dmm was okay, the pacing was the worst I've ever seen in a movie, and you know what, it's not even funny. It was intended to be, but it wasn't. The use of Morshu of YouTube Poop fame wasn't funny. I guess Funny Bones didn't want to re-watch his own movie because it was so bad, and after he made a scene, he'd start on the next scene without perfecting the previous one. Assuming it only took a week to make, it seemed like he didn't put much devotion to a four-hour movie while he was making it. Listen, people, I have THOUSANDS of UNFINISHED 3DMM movies and about half of them cannot be recovered because the computers I made them on are either broken or broken. We 3DMMers take this very seriously since there is no longer support for such an abandoned software and we are the only ones that can fix the problem, even if we can't fix it, we'll have to suck it up. I've been 3DMMing "seriously" since about 2005. I was 10 years old, maybe around the same age as this kid is, but there was a difference. Despite the fact that both of our movies sucked, mine was better, only because I try to put thought, wit, and charm to them, whereas this kid forces it, making it unfunny. I remember, at the time, my biggest 3DMM project was Dawn of the Doraemon. A horrific comedy about everyones favorite, unknown Japanese cat, whose, at least in the movie, cuteness was sinister and entrancing. That's why I loved Doraemon at the time (and to this day). He was either hypnotically cute, or just very human be it good or evil. I was working on that movie for two years and only twelve minutes were almost complete, but released anyways. I remember planning it to be 40 minutes long, but why did it take so long for 12 minutes in 2 years? It was because I had other ideas being born at rapid speed at the time, and I didn't want to lose them and crash my trains of thought on a dead end. Also there was not a lot of good things happening to me at the time. I was also more autistic, so my peers (and my 3dmm.com peers) would either misunderstand me or bully me. And school and stuff like that were also putting me off. But Funny Bones is also a kid. He perhaps goes to school, and spends the afternoons of that week making the movie. He would obviously have homework, eat dinner, stuff like that to keep off time making this opposite of a masterpiece. Or if he was making this on a holiday, then that might be a different story. Spoiled runt making a four-hour movie in one week... Jeez. I really want to use 3DMM once again, but since I'm using a Mac and have VMware Fusion, it should be seamless, right? Wrong. Ever since I upgraded to Snow Leopard, VMware has this error when I try to run my Windows 2000 virtual machine. Now I have another Windows machine that is inaccessible at the moment, or at eternity, with all my ambitious 3DMM projects in it. How about my other Windows computers? Forget it, they're all BSoD history. I can get more detail onto why this is a tragedy to us devoted 3DMMers, but it's sad to see juveniles like these release with shit when real 3DMMers take years to paint their masterpieces. Fortunately, some were actually completed, but most 3DMM films are short in length, and most of them, especially in this site, have perfected animation and plots. Unfortunately for me, the only movies I released here were either trailers for to-this-day unfinished/unrecoverable movies or silly novelties. Everyone should respect Samurai Clinton here, because he actually has fun doing 3DMM, and his movies aren't as bad as this. The Theater is the worst 3DMM film I've ever seen, as well as the worst film I've ever seen in general. |
