Ok first of all, what a painfully ironic thing for you of all people to say. Second of all, that's absurd - trying is certainly not "all that matters," and this movie sure didn't show a whole lot of effort anyway. Comments like that are almost as unhelpful as your usual flaming and baiting.

Wwp: This kind of thing is nowhere near the standard expected by the community. It's the kind of movie we all threw together in a couple of minutes when we were ten. If you want anything you make to be even slightly well-received here, you're going to have to watch some community-produced movies and get an idea of how to do things. I'm not expecting you to whip up the next Vlarion, but it's really inexcusable to not even put in the effort to add sound to your movie and to have actors freezing up mid-action (or, if you don't know how to do these things, to find out by watching and dissecting other movies). This isn't meant to be discouraging, but you can certainly do better than this, even if you are only just figuring out the program.

I don't agree with any "community expectations" nonsense, but I do agree that more effort could have been put into this considering its non-existent sound, and especially considering that you didn't have time to add sound but you did have time to make this into a YouTube video(starting a new program, recording, uploading, posting it up here).

I would only recommend watching other movies to show 3dmm's capabilities, and not to be required to compete with them this early on. I would rather you try to match your imagination, tolerate the boredom/stress of putting basic(if not average) effort in, and try to match the measurement of your interest.

I would also suggest reading your movie's comments so that you can read informative comments and to see reactions of the community. Also, if your language understanding level makes all this sound confusing:

"Put more work into your movies."

Anyway, this movie was not good. The animation was "okay", and so far animation is your strongest point so far. The subtle humor was less than okay, but at least it could entertain a young kid(that's a good thing, not an insult) as it was more of a commercial-ish kind of silly humor. Everything else was bad or wasn't there.

Your other movie was better.

hey Thoughts, you should make these comments a little longer and post them as reviews. no one else reviews movies like this, and honestly I think what you have there is about all that would need to be said to constitute an ok review of something like this.

I actually would like to make use of the review posting ability, I just wish there were some guidelines I could follow because I'm not too sure what the rules are on making an official review.

Thank you though, I suppose as long as someone experienced here thinks I could do it, I feel I can now.

Just write a review in a way that we won't cringe while reading and break it down into sections on plot, style, sound, etc.

That being said, if you're seriously going to try this on a 17 second clip don't bother.
