Unless he's doing some sort of crazy RD proxy tunnelling he hasn't left the UK. SAS members are bounded by a NDA, not to mention the Official Secrets Act not to reveal their identities; they always identify as the class they were prior to achieving SAS status to anyone not involved with the SAS.
