e: and there's a glitter effect on the palm, so maybe $25-30.
e2: looking some more, the first one might actually be professional-grade and just shitty camera work. That would put it in the $50 range.

haha, i've never encountered a fireworks nerd before. this is interesting.

But seriously, fireworks are lame as hell. I think some comedian or something said this, but they're only interesting the first time you see them when you're a little kid, after that you just have to pretend to be excited by it to not bum out the other people you're with.

Not a fireworks nerd by any means.

Assistant Manager of a fireworks store for a few months last summer. Can learn just about everything there is to know about the retail end in maybe 2 weeks of work.

Learning the chemistry is a bit more complex and not something I know, really. Other than that green and red are the cheapest chemicals by a longshot. Probably blue next, and then orange and purple are way at the top. I base this entirely on observations about prices of various products in our store.

What a joy-sapping opinion.

Have you ever been to a professional fireworks competition? Fireworks are amazing. And when they do the shows to music, and etc. it's just awesome.

Not liking fireworks is denying all basic love for explosions and bright pretty lights.
