to all those 3d movie makers long - gone

for you, I wrote this mellow - ass - rap - song

your spirit lives on,

as a ghost

hell... you might even still lurk, and just. not. post.

every day I log on and I sing this song

remember the fallen soldiers and sing along

i wouldnt say its a console port, its just missing some video options that it should have.

it actually runs insanely well, keeping 60 FPS with vsync, 8x antialiasing, 8x anisotropic, aa transparency ambient occlusion all that bullshit
and this is while driving at top speed through the island with like 50 trees in view with their leaves blowing around,

it actually... doesnt make sense how well its running, when compared to how other games run

Yeah, I was really unsure at first but it actually looks really nice. The combat is cool too. I feel like I've never really had first-person mêlée combat with zombies before and it confuses me as to why it's not been done. I've never played either of the L4Ds though so IT PROBABLY HAS BEEN DONE (but yeah, I think I've only ever seen screenshots of guns in that game so idk).

melee was the whole reason l4d2 rocked. but in that game the melee was really just spamming the attack button. in dead island if you just spam you'll probably die, and timing things wrong versus like 3 or 4 zombies solo will get you killed. its really intense

Makes sense too, since you wouldn't exactly have an arsenal of firearms to hand if zombie invasion went down. It'd be 99% melee.

Edit: Well, not in the UK anyway...

Yeah, there's no way that's just a coincidence. Wonder if it was the same character designer or something.
