If there's one bright spot about that video, it's that it could probably be used to show the limits of what adding fast motion and yackety sax can do to turn something horrific into something funny.

this other video shows why the woman caught fire so easily... i can't believe how far she managed to run down the stairs. very stupid thing to do... but goddamn what a horrible way to go

I made a homemade flashlight out of parts recycled from reject merchandise that was rendered "unsellable" at our local industrial tools store, since the employees there are starting to know me, and they praise me for my vehicle customization and bike repair business.

and a video to review it with

Ya know, it just so happens, codename The Bikemobile all started from something my uncle gave me that I wanted to implement for bicycle use, of which was composite headlights (modular lamp housing with permanent optic mirroring and a replaceable bulb) from a car. And now, I'm giving my uncle something that I made after all this ingenuity since his birthday happens to be this month.

Some resistors in the circuit board of the unsellable emergency flood light console were de-soldered to be donor resistors on an attempt to convert a 5-volt USB-powered color-changing push-button to a 12-volt accessory for accent lighting on my bike.

in this video, I was simply using alligator-clip cables as jumpers on the discarded circuit board from the emergency lighting console to multiple resistors since I figured that multiple resistors would help approximate the resistance, therefore I opted for a resistance that was slightly higher than the result I got from doing my math from determining the peak current from the multimeter on 5-volt USB.

How to determine resistance for adapting devices to work on higher voltages than their intended voltage: (higher voltage - device's native voltage) / (peak current or continuous current) = the recommended resistance

That type of formula is useful for something like getting an LED to work on a 12 volt system.

Now, heres a video where I finally got the former USB hub installed as a new horn switch for my bike:

Well, more to know about that color-changing push-button, you see, it was formerly a USB hub with a push-button for shutting down (or maybe putting to sleep) a computer, I bought it from RadioShack because it had a soaring discount as a clearance item. I jury-rigged the button to function for the horn, I cut off the wiring for data + and data - since the +5V and ground leads were the only required leads for the lighting effects function. I feel I got premium accent lighting at a bargain price doing this. But for some reason, the device flickers when I honk the horn. It could be some flaw it has, but lets just say it stimulates the light show for special effects.

When I was doing some tests by attempting to recharge an older MP3 player that was retired from service, the device slugged out; therefore I figured that it would work better as a lighting toy than a USB hub for recharging, so I filled the USB ports with hot-glue make it water-resistant. Ironically, the glow-sticks I had on my speakers stopped working, so I removed them. I plan on wiring my own array of LEDs on there as replacement accent lighting now since I learned the proper resistance for getting LEDs to work on 12 volt systems.

Is that a joke name that a mod has put on you or something? I don't get it. On top of that, my knowledge of avatars is so fuzzy that I'm not 100% sure who you are anymore. VGG, right?
