Ableton is one of the best, if not the best, for exactly this sort of thing. Many professionals use it, and of the Youtube crowd, Autotune the News and DJ Steve Porter both use it. It makes doing these sort of mashups / remixes, ESPECIALLY when they involve video, extremely simple. The Earworm thing doesn't have audio attached to video most of the time since he is using the acapella tracks, so Ableton's amazing video side doesn't come into account, but its still definitely one of the top.

but when direct video-audio editing is involved, there's no question... ableton is the way to go.
