It would totally suck, but I've thought of it before, and if it happened to me I would want to get a little camera installed and then have the cords ran under my skin to a little DVR or something. I would record life, truly, through my own eye.

one time I fell asleep in front of the TV, and I was awoken by a commercial for sleep medication. The commercial was some stupid metaphor about "fighting" your insomnia. So a bell from a boxing match was appropriate.

DING-DING!!!!!! ... are you having trouble sleeping?

I also saw this commercial for a hearing aide. and some old bitch was like, "Now I can hear the birdies sing!" But she enunciates in such a way that you second guess your own ability to hear. It was surreal at first. I listened to the commercial four times with my DVR before I could figure out what she was saying
