same as any vaporizer, heats up to a nice temperature in the little glass area, but this one is powered by 1 rechargeable AA battery which is pretty sweet.

But weed needs to get to 365 degrees to vaporize... I would think that would need some sort of temperature regulator or something. Isn't that why most vaporizers are big, bulk things with dials/knobs to control temp?

I also thought that vaporizing made it so you DIDN'T cough...

Some of the best ones don't have anything to control the temperature. Purple Days for example is considered one of the best out there. They just always get to a specific temperature that works well.

Vaporizing can make it so you don't cough, but it also doesn't get you as high (despite what some vape elitists will tell you). I personally always would turn my friend's vaporizer up to the point where the bags were REALLY smoky, and the difference in the high would be HUGE compared to when I'd leave it at a low, non-smoky temperature.

The thing is, you still aren't burning the weed. It still never turns into ash. It would make us cough, but it isn't at ALL the same as the dirty feeling you get from smoking from a pipe. No more nasty resin, so much cleaner.

Smoking is so nasty after you've gotten used to using a vape... I hope to never smoke it again after getting this.
