scout update is definitely the worst tf2 update in history

FAN - awful
Bonk - awful
Bat n ball - overpowered and then later, awful

yeah scout was the worst update. the new stuff was just a bit too annoying all at once too. BONK would like never be used correctly and would just be used to piss people off by running up to people's faces while invincible. Sandman was fun to use, but everyone would just spam the balls into chokepoints, pissing everyone off. FAN pisses everyone off cause you die instantly from it, but I never cared too much... I'm better with Scattergun (and now Shortstop).

It was just an update of all these annoying things. I wouldn't really classify ANY other update as "annoying".

At least now Scout has Crit-a-Cola, Milk, and the Shortstop, which are all less annoying and more useful alternatives (although lots of people hate the Shortstop... it'll probably get nerfed a bit but I really don't think its that bad. I didn't hate the FaN either though)

crit-a-cola GENUINELY seems like a good idea. key times, key place, you drop a key medic and it could be a game changer. Again, not got one yet.

Milk, who knows. Not experienced it, and I don't quite understand the specifics of it but w/e

Shortstop rules. It just shoots super fast and reloads super fast... I really don't see how it isn't a pure upgrade to the Scattergun. Its ALSO better at range. From what I saw it seems that Shortstop does like 75 damage at point-blank, while Scattergun does 110. But Shortstop shoots twice as fast and reloads instantly so yeah

Crit a Cola rocks. Lots of people don't touch it cause it requires very specific usage, but its my favorite. I'll see a medic healing someone, and will get as close to them as I can without being seen, drink the Cola, run up to the medic, blast him, and run away. If you get shot at all you're basically dead. I love it because I NEVER use the FaN, but with the Cola you can still drop a Medic in half a second like the FaN does.

Milk seemed cool but I traded it for a hat so I can't judge it yet.

according to the steam forum, Crit a Cola has the same drop rate as a hat. haha. i've never seen one drop personally

its says so on the official wiki too. if you've actually gotten 3 crit a colas then you're crazy unlucky to have never gotten a hat.
