i just cant get Melodyne to install, cause no good crack group is doing any proper releases of it and they all crash on install for me. and its probably like $5000000000 to buy. fuck. it seems like its better for autotuning people who weren't singing in the first place. i think its also what Autotune the News uses.

maybe if i spend forever on Antares i'll figure out how to do it better

Oh my god, I just got Melodyne and it is amazing.

It doesn't even include DNA, which is just insane:

but even without that, it seems SO much more serious than Antares. Its gonna take time for me to learn this but oh man it seems awesome.

TUNA LIKES IT MORE THAN ERIC.

I think I've said this before, but I have 2 friends named Eric and Ryan. I always get their names mixed up and it's all your fault.

I dunno man. I dunno. All this autotune stuff, it's like it takes away all of the aspects of performing. And talent. It's just going to churn out robots.

We had an email sent out about vuvuzela's during the soccer games because customers were calling in saying that ESPN and all the sports channels had an "annoying buzz." We had to start telling people it was people blowing horns...

Who cares? People can still show that they are capable of performing things with live performances. Its not getting rid of talent, its just taking some of the live-performance talent and putting it into arrangement talent. And if you overuse the automatic stuff, your stuff sounds like shit and lifeless.

I dunno I'm all for it. I just wish I could use that DNA stuff... its apparently uncrackable, cause not 1 release group has released it yet.

I still just see autotune as a gimmicky thing. For pitch correction it's fine. I haven't really seen a use of it in music other than that that I like. It makes some vox tracks sound cooler but once you've heard one you've heard them all.

Yeah but the video I posted had nothing to do with vocal autotune, and its something you probably wouldn't even notice was going on in a track that has it.

But I still like vocal autotune like this that just sounds like a robot like

but I can't think of any American mainstream autotune that I've ever liked. the chorus of tik tok did get stuck in my head though
