It is, but before you buy it, get a feel for the controls in a demo or something. If you've never played a Skate game before, they're fucking nuts.

I wonder if I'd be able to get into that game. I tried playing a tony hawk game recently (TH4 I think) and I was literally bored in 20 seconds. I fucking hate tony hawk games. 4 games later and it still feels like a carbon copy of the very first game.

yeah theyre great games but they just dragged on with the same formula too long. i didn't like 4's whole layout too much. and Underground (at least Underground 2's) point system was completely broken due to the stunts, what are they called, where you just stand still and stand on your board in cool ways, like using it as a pogo stick. You can just do those endlessly and do 0 skating, and you'll get insane scores. especially when you use slow motion along with it.

yeah they fucked up the series entirely after 3.
