I found it incredible fun but it kinda got old fast for me, I was only playing it regularly for about 3 months, stopped round about the spy/sniper update, not a protest against game design, I just got bored with it really. hard to stay interested in a multiplayer game when none of your friends play it

TF2's a great game, one the best mulitplayer game's I've ever come across. I just recently found out that the only thing the ticks me off about TF2 is the people who play it, they're mostly obxious 11 year olds who are very focused on 'pwnin ur ass, noob'. The same goes to many other games.

It really depends on the servers you join. Just favorite ones with more mature players, and always go back to those.

another problem was like, I loved the class system so much I just played pretty much everything and so never really got particularly adept at a specific class. well, I was ok with soldier, and demoman on the right maps. I was pretty much utter gash at scout, spy and sniper but I still played them because they were pretty goddamn fun, especially scout. but ultimately i'm too reckless and therefore I was just getting my ass handed to me every time I tried to actually advance the objective. (you know, rather than skip around the outskirts and taking out random stragglers)
