As for those corner pieces, I always used then for bases.

Fuck yeah, Bryce! The Spyrius stuff was probably some of the best Lego sets ever made. It had a shitload of really cool, useful pieces, and the figures were awesome (especially the robot and the dude with the red bangs and the headband).
