I remember when I first got into multiplayer gaming (Team Fortress Classic), I used to do stuff just to affect what the most people in the game would hear, just cause I thought it was so cool that it was all online and affecting people. Like I'd cause big explosions for no reason when a lot of people were nearby.

Also I still remember a friend telling me that Counter Strike was free and I repeatedly told him that he must be wrong, because no good games are free.

Years earlier, I played that same friend in a game of pogs. I flipped all 20 pogs in 1 hit. He said he wasn't ready.

When I was uh, 8, I guess, and I was trying to decide what instrument I wanted to play, I thought playing flute would be cool simply because Ian Anderson did it crazy. I told this to one person and they said "Dude that's gay" and I realized that yes, it was, in fact, gay, and did not play flute.

I kinda wish I could. I've tried, but technique is so fucking hard to get down on that shit, man.

Well that sucks. Flute is awesome, and its rather rare to meet a great flute player (the JAMMING kind, like Anderson, not the classical kind), considering how very popular flute is in hip hop and stuff. If I knew a flute player, I'd never get tired of making beats with him.

On Ninjam I had a jam with a great flute player, it ROCKED

Also, Flute just has such a pure, listenable sound when played right. Unlike some other instruments which can become a bit annoying

When I had to choose what instrument to play in my band, I wanted to play the trombone. I thought it was called the "trumpet". I was disappointed at first when I received my trumpet, but I guess trumpet was a cool instrument.

I wanted to play the drums but my parents didn't want me to and couldn't afford it, so I played trumpet. I quit after 2 years.

Kotaku are fucking idiots. Earlier today, they reported the incorrect name for Half Life: Opposing Force, calling it one of the Call of Duty games.

Now, I see this in an article:
"It's previous graphics engine, id Tech 4, powered few of the industry's games. The next one, id Tech 5, is first and foremost being developed for id's own next big game, Rage. It's companies such as Epic that make the graphics engines that power so many games on the market."

Wow, they just used "it's" in 2 different ways, proving that they don't even check their grammar for a second.

I hate them so much.

Well, if anyone has an equally good gaming site with the same amount of exclusive interviews and all, I will gladly switch. But so far, Kotaku is the only one with that much stuff. They just need to take like 2 years of English classes, in all seriousness. I mean, their only job is to write, but they are constantly getting corrected by teenagers in the comments.

I can't correct them anymore either, cause they banned me after correcting them 4 times in a row.

Actually no, they banned me for telling them that a news story they posted was literally OVER 1 YEAR OLD.
