well before the whole Iraq thing completely trashed his reputation he was actually very good at his job. I was just wondering what triggered this thread other than a severely belated "LOOK AT ME I HATE TONY BLAIR. JESUS, WHAT A PRICK EH? BLIMEY...." when the whole anti-blair wagon rolled out of town quite a while ago. it just seems stupid.

That reminds me of something that scared me a lot. I took a class called "Abnormal Psychology" when I was in college. It was basically a class about things like OCD, bipolar, schizophrenia, social disorders, and all that stuff.

The longer I was in the class the more I realized that most of the people seemed to have an abnormal psychology problem themselves. There was the middle aged, hideous woman who would ramble for about 5 minutes about nothing when answering a question until the teacher cut her off, the fat chick with severe ADD, the girl who admitted she was bulimic during her class presentation, but the scariest thing was the mom. She would ask questions related to parenting and childhood about obviously specific situations.

The time that scared me was when we were talking about phobias, and she suddenly blurted out that her child had a "fear" of vomiting, both seeing it and vomiting. If you ask me, that's a god damned normal fear. Vomiting is nasty and I still hate it. But she then said that she had her son "cured." She brought him to an intensive therapy program where they slowly worked their way into her son's fear to eliminate it. She said "And the best part was it only took three months. Except he hasn't thrown up yet, so we don't know for sure."

Dude, if I were a child, that would be such a traumatizing experience. Three months of therapy to cure something all children are afraid of? The teacher replied "well in some situations if the parent can't help the child rationally deal with a fear, it can create problems." It was awesome and awkward at the same time.
Lol. People mostly want to learn about things relating to themselves, afterall.

The first thing I learned in abnormal psychology is, it doesn't really matter if you're a little weird. You're not officially abnormal until something is adversely affecting your life.

You say he was good at his job. Have you ever seen a chimp's tea party? a very similar scene! He did nothing and lied to us.

For a thread about the worst greatest screw up, there is hardly any input from McGowen...

You're 13 years old and know nothing. Are you just quoting stuff your parents say or something?
