the real tragedy of man's sexual condition is that if you unclothe everybody, the difference between a sexy woman and an ugly woman is exceedingly small. just a few minor lines, a few minor adjustments here and there. i think anyone who ever got good at drawing realizes this on a deeper level. if you're drawing, you can take major liberties with a lot of things, like architecture, plants, animals, etc., and no one will notice. but if you make a tiny, miniscule, infinitesimally small error on a woman's face, then everyone will notice. it will simply look wrong, all because of how we're hard-wired and programmed to recognize faces. and yet, despite the insignificance of the changes required to make an unattractive woman more attractive, you can't fix an ugly woman's face through plastic surgery. it just doesn't work; you can tell most times that something has been done.

One man's "error" is another man's treasure though. I totally disagree that there is any true standard of beauty, which is why I think plastic surgery is inherently grotesque.

Vanessa Bayer from SNL, there's another one who I think doesn't get the deserved recognition for being one of the best-looking celebrities these days.

we need to get David Gomez in here. He has a whole thing about beauty that’s interesting.

I used to play Team Fortress 2 when the orange box came out on my XBox 360.

There were no hats, cosmetics, or additional items you could add when I played it.

No idea it had gotten this crazy!

Yeah, its pretty much dead at this point. The new update took a year to come out and delivered too little too late.

Seems the TF2 people shifted to Overwatch.

I'm 0% interested in Overwatch, but I'm not a hater either. Seems far too silly of a game to me. Really.

TF2 had a better theme. Overwatch has the dumbest backstory. some really cool characters in overwatch. but its a mashup. while TF2, those 9 characters were a great team with a great theme

Now that TF2 basically doesn’t matter, I’m all for Valve loosening up and letting the cosmetics run wild. The team color thing is annoying, but it’s not like it’s going to cost anyone an MLG sponsorship or anything. Let everyone look like beautiful gaudy dorks in this 10 year old game, sheesh.

Love that video. Its so goddamn perfect for that FMV-heavy 1993-1996 era of CD-ROM games.

Can somebody point me to an easy way to make a transparent background avatar, or even just making a transparent BG picture stay transparent when I shrink it to 60x60? I wanna represent but I dont want the white background like PhilWill and Izak

I have to relearn how to do transparency every time I need it. In GIMP just add an alpha channel to the layer.

Good Haunter. I was thinking of going with him but I thought it was cool how similar Meowth was to my other avatar.

It definitely works, you still register as Compcat at a glance. Plus Meowth is a boss. Haunter’s my all-time fave, I always hated the pressure to evolve him to Gengar, since his stats all go way up, with the only downside being he looks fucking stupid.

Agreed on that. If I remember right Haunter/Gengar was in my main roster, but I had the same dilemma, Haunter looks so much cooler. I can't remember whether I caved and evolved him or not.
