I heard someone more educated than me say cod-. I snickered, then I double-checked it. Google's pronouncer thing says cod-. I trust Google over Emma but whatever. Cod- sounds dumb esp. given the definition, so maybe it works both ways

just type codify in google, its built-in definition thing shows both cod-ify and code-ify, same with merriam webster etc

cod-ify is first everywhere though, which indicates that it's the most "proper/prestigious" pronunciation

So much wrong, so much hate.
So many miss trueths. But I can't blame you. You are following what is a historical pattern, which one could say is human nature born out of ignorance. A thousand years from now, historians are going to look back at the great American Empire and reflect upon this time. Speaking of Empires do you know what historians say was a key cause to the fall of the Roman empire? There are many factors but some key ones you could be interested in is economics, politics, and racism. The Roman Empire wasn't fairing to well and divided between east and west. The Roman Empire had grown so large that the leaders thought they couldn't control the empire with one centralized capital. The idea was simple, that 2 cities working together could effectively control the Empire. what they didn't realize is it would create an us and them relationship and the two cities didn't work well with each other. The economy shrank and people hardened. One of the things that made Rome powerful was it's ability to use the people it conquered, for example the Visigoths. Now the Romans were very conceited, and assumed they were the better race and as the economy shrunk they held onto this concept even tighter. This caused some resentment from the other nations and ethnicities in and out of the Roman Empire. But what really sealed Rome's date was when Rome, strapped for cash allowed slaves to trade Gothic children for dog meat. The Gothic armies were trained in Roman war fare and help expand and defend the Roman empire, but with one single political move, the Romans showed what they thought of their allies, that they were only worth dog meat. With this great insult, the visigoths turned back on Rome and sacked it in 410. Now I see many similarities to the fall of Rome and modern America. Now this pattern has repeated itself several times in history. For example 80 years ago in Germany, so I would be careful with the hate speech, who knows how far it will go? Yes, America is on the decline. Yes America has used and insulted many of its allies, the Taliban once worked with America to fight the Russians.
Also this is an international community, where our American centric discussion is either irrelevant to most of the audiance or insulting.
Lastly you talk about being deceived by the great deceiver. I am expressing acceptance and love of our neighbors. You are showing fear and hate. Now which one do you think God wants us to do and which one do you think the deceiver wants?
Mic drop

I realise I pick mine totally on character and back story and THATS OKAY. Probably why I enjoy Tekken so much, their moves reflect the characters and stories well.
