but that is funny.

You say you agree, but you also say I'm not funny.

But that irony cancels out you saying "I'm not funny".

Beauty is immutable – fixed – beauty is an idea, an external idea, is best embodied
It is deep, not superficial – hidden (not obvious)
Best theory of beauty is its history
Gertrude Stein said that to call a work of art beautiful means that it is dead
The problem w/ taste was that, however much it resulted in periods or large agreement within communities of art lovers, it issued from pricate, immediate and revocable responses to art. And the consensus however form, was never more than local
Definitions of beauty become empty
Beauty defines itself as the antithesis of the ugly – you can’t say something is beautiful if you’re not willing to say something is ugly.
Good taste seems even more retrograde an idea than beauty
Beauty applies to some things and not to others – this is the principle of discrimination
Beauty belonged to the family of notions that establish rank and accorded well w/ social order unapologetic about station, class hierarchy and the right to exclude
Beauty – the world, like discrimination, has changed over time
When people say work of art is interesting – doesn’t mean they thought it was beautiful
Beauty can illustrate an idea; a perfection
For women – beauty is theatrical, worshiped because of beauty – looked at and admired
Beauty is an aesthetic category – on a collision course w/ the ethical
Beauty is never naked – never unmixed w/ moral values – the aesthetic is itself a quasi-morale project
To split up beauty from higher, inner, outer, lower, etc. is the usual way that judgement of the beautiful are colonized by moral judgement – Nietzchean POV says it’s improper but unavoidable
Various definitions of beauty come at least as close to a plausible characterization of virtue and of a fuller humanity, as the attemps to definite goodness as such
Beauty is part of the history of idealizing – beauty does not always console
Beauty that is human and beauty that is made (art) both raise fantasy of possession
Our model of the disinterested comes from the beauty of nature – a nature that is distant overarching, unpossessable
Power of beauty can overwhelm people – soldier quote
Beauty of art is better than beauty of nature because its made by humans and is work of the spirit
Art does more than school us and what to appreciate in nature – reminds us as such, what lies beyond the human and the made – stimulates/depends our sense of the sheer spread and fullness of reality
Beauty regains its solidity, its inevitability, as a judgement needed to make sense of a large portion of one’s energies, affinities and admirations; and the usurping notions appear ludicrous
Imagine saying “that sunset is interesting”

I did so much to serve people on the Internet.

I believe in the idea of free entertainment, and well, YTMND is so full of mischief.

JohnnyLurg had to go through many of the same struggles I went though.

Contrary to popular belief, there is more than one autistic YTMNDer in the world.

You can even look at my YTMNDs and notice major differences between mine and Clinton's: http://ytmnd.com/users/JohnnyLurg/sites

YEAH YOU TELL HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leonard Cohen's raging Goatse addiction was meant to send a message that comedy is SUPREMO, and sometimes needs more shock value like Howard Stern would want it.

I on the other hand enjoy Leonard Cohen's music and poetry, and don't personally believe Cohen is a Goatse addict (though I support Clinton's decision to believe so).

The MIDDLE COMMENT in this image is the comment that Austin made that Lurg was concerned about:

Also, I had to CENSOR a portion of FormerlyFeaturedFaggyUser's comment because I didn't want to reveal any links to Facebook users he was spamming links to. I will say, FormerlyFeaturedFaggyUser was also spamming comments with links to family members of mine on social media, but hes kinda a different story.

woman because she told me what I had been thinking my entire
life. Pain is food. A food that is essential to the growth of one's
soul.

Let's talk about violence, shall we? Violence in the media is an
easy target. "If we get rid of all the violent movies, television
shows, and comic books, the world will be Utopian!" An easily
believable answer. Just ask your mom.

Jhonen Vasquez has touched something important here. There's a
little monster inside all of us, a little wolf-faced boy monkey that
needs to be satiated. As people, we mustn't ignore that monster.
If we do, we cheat our selves. We deny an emotion, a feeling.

Think of some one who pissed you off. Some yutz who cut you
off in traffic; a prick-ass Kinko's employee who took three hours
to copy your resume; the big bully who spit in your face when
you were eight. Now, in your head, relive that moment. This time,
however, don't just stand there and take it. This time you've got a
knife. Pull it out from behind your back and watch the status
flip-flop. Suddenly, Mr. Kinko isn't so cocky. The playground bully
is crying for his mother. Smell their fear. Then, kill them. Kill them
like you see in the movies. Make it as horrible as possible. Release
that monster and stab that knife deep into their face.

As humans, we are taught to forget that we are animals. Animals
kill to survive and it's just as natural for us. To deny nature is to
deny life. Now that you've committed murder in your dream world,
relax. Take a deep breath, give your monster a high five and put
him away. You've just used an evil fantasy to keep you civilized
and sane.

Some may call this irresponsible advice. They kid themselves that
their monster doesn't exist. And when a person lies to themselves,
there is less chance for spiritual growth. More than likely, their
monster will step out of the Dreamworld into the Realworld. That's
how a society gets messy. Lots of neglected, hungry monsters.

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac gives our monster something to chew
on. It's pain food that wears it's teeth down. Johnny represents
Jhonen Vasquez's monster. Vasquez, and his fans, are all the
stronger because of him.
