It's not hard to avoid the politics, I mean there are at least 100 threads along with the ability to make more.

by the way i want to point out, i have no fault with lohr on this stuff. thats a dude who decided to explore politics for the first time with an open mind, that's cool. i don't love the rabbit hole he decided to pursue, but that's part of the process.

It's not just the politics though, is it? It's the board in general. Those threads are like a microcosm for the whole forum.

Thank god for Frederick and his sick-ass paintings and whatnot

The thing is, I don't feel like his mind WAS that open. He had two things set in stone - "I bloody hate Hillary!!!!" and "the media can't be trusted!!!!!!!!" and all of his views have just come from that.

Right? And the jazz stuff? The guy is like a protagonist in some nordic indie noir film.

Oh shit, BR, I wanted to talk to you about possibly commissioning some art, I love your character drawings lately and I'm doing something for a D&D design competition.

In my opinion the loss in creativity is what makes the community worse than it was 5-10 years ago, and I think that comes down to people not having the time or motivation to use 3dmm anymore, which was sort of connections for all the various kinds of media ending up on here.

So what creative thing have you posted recently, Bown? And I personally don't consider bitter complaints about the quality of forum members to count. And my point is you're bitching about the wrong things. Stupid random dramas like this Izak/Lohr Trump stuff, or the Tony Clay stuff, or the Red Scorpion stuff, or the Ramza stuff, etc., have been going on and probably will continue to go on forever. That's what's lasted. What's unfortunately vanished is the creativity, but that's what it means to be an adult unfortunately, a lot less free time. So we're probably not going to attract too many active creative types if there's no active creativity going on here.

You want to make things better? Or do you guys not care about solutions and just want to bitch and complain (about things that would probably go on even with your precious "cool members"). Well, if you do care about solutions, post your creative stuff (if you have any) and comment on other peoples'. That's what makes the community better. This constant useless bile is far worse imo than any of the political stuff the past few months.

Probably back when it wasn't one, I guess? If you really had to put a timeline on this it probably starts with the Clinton controversy. That let people know the required quality of posts here had been drastically lowered.

Actually a really good summary of the inevitable death of the community. I'm glad we actually DID send a poet on this one.

is kind of a false comparison though, since it all falls under that "stupid random dramas" stuff you pointed out is the stalwart, lasting legacy of this community. that shit got old, man. the point of diminishing returns is long past.

seriously, i think this is what it boils down to. for some people, bitching and moaning is the only way they're capable of contributing to the site.

Alright, so by your metaphor I assume you'll stop whining when the ship is fully submerged? When will that be? I mean, Samurai Clinton joined a decade ago, and I'd rather not have to still be going through this in 2026.

You haven't really been making that point, what else sucks to you besides political debates? And why do you spend so much of your 3dmm time in those threads? My art thread has TWO replies

as i said before the attitudes present in those threads spill over into the rest of the board.

anyway it's very odd how many of you are trying to present this as literally just me

as for your art i had literally nothing to say about it so i didn't reply. i guess they looked like people? so good job.

Okay so you have nothing to say about my art, you don't post art, you don't post about your life or anything interesting, all you do is post sarcastic half-witted comments in political debates and whine about nothing good being on 3dmm.com

Carry on

so i don't think the jews are instinctively pro-multicultural, which is what the book argues. i think they can be reasoned into a better political position. but i also don't really have any problems with the whole ((( ))) thing, because A) i think it's a clever idea for a script, B) i think people should have the right to know when someone's jewish or not if the information is already publicly available, and C) the amount of kvetching about it is hilariously paranoid

does it make me an sjw that i totally find it awkward when i see the terms 'the jews' 'the blacks' etc used in conversation? i genuinely don't know if they're considered accurate, valid terms to use in intellectual discussions, but they sure feel unnecessarily harsh.
