since i broke my newer mechanical keyboard (Cherry Reds), and have been using my old one (Cherry Browns), i've decided that Browns are my preferred choice. at first, the no-bump smoothness of the Reds is awesome, very floaty and super low-effort in gaming with tons of key presses. but i found that sometimes i'd end up hitting keys that i rest my fingers on, such as the Shift key. the Browns have JUSSSTTTTT enough resistance that it makes this much harder to do. i actually like Reds slightly more for typing though, surprisingly.

now to wait for the K70 to go on sale again
