Just saw some guy sagging with his jeans halfway down his thighs, wearing white boxer briefs with several skid marks. Like he forgot to wipe his ass, then scratched it with his underwear in between. So my ovaries are like trying to kill me and I've had a few days in hospital, now I'm on a bunch of awesome drugs but some have the worst side effects so it's been kinda fun but also horrible. Today has probably been tht worst - like I'm high right now on tramadol but my limbs feel weird and my antibiotics have been giving me waking nightmares about Matthew choking etc. but I'm also having deep thoughts about life and I just really love my husband right now.

I also have come to terms with the fact that I'm like 30 now which is like 45 in man years and I've lost my looks.

i had this professor who was a milton scholar. she was pretty brilliant and amazing. taught me how to correctly read renaissance verse and parse all of the syntactical constructions correctly. she had a very relaxed, common-sense sort of attitude about everything. without her, i never would have known how great poets like john donne and george herbert are. on the day she turned 70, she told me that she and her friends had an 'old crone' party where she was officially crowned an 'old crone,' and she was laughing about it, without the slightest bit of shame or sadness. i thought that was pretty cool. she managed to live a life where that kind of superficial bullshit doesnt really matter so much, and you can laugh in the face of it without consequence

Sometimes I can look at myself and see how I've aged and I'm like 'Cool, I'm doing alright' and having a pudgy face helps because you look younger. Then sometimes I'm like how am I meant to keep a husband with this face.
Really it's fine, I only wear makeup because it's fun and I kind of collect it so it's like a really lame hobby.

Also I ruptured an ovarian cyst and I had a sort of reaction where all the organs in my abdomen sort of got inflamed, it's gross and very very sore. Worse than labour. Been trying to have another kid for the past six months so this will either help or I will find out baby making window is closed.
