Creepshow is a 1982 elemental black comedy and horror anthology film directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King
what does "elemental" mean here, exactly?

Looks like Phil may have been right.

There’s been a big decline in the black incarceration rate, and almost nobody’s paying attention

Quote:
Since 2000, the imprisonment rate among African-American women has dropped 47 percent, while the rate among white women has risen by 56 percent.

It's pretty sweet I make sure robots and computers that build trucks work right. It's a much better job than working for the military because I'm in a mangement role and get to make decisions on what vendors we use for different hardware/software. When I worked for the military I was just a cog in the huge system and since it was a contract position there was literally no room for advancement since I was hired under contract for one specific position. Theoretically I could've applied for a job with a different contracting company for a different position at the same base I worked at, but in the end my boss would always be an active duty military officer. The frustrating thing about that is they change their MOS every 3-4 years so my boss at the time had no practical IT experience. He had tons of leadership/management experience but working as a medical trainer is way different than actually working on the computers in a medical training facility. So when I was applying for new jobs there were a few military jobs I got offers for but this Toyota gig was a lot better than anything the different contractors offered me. Aside from better pay the benefits alone are enough to where I would've taken this job even if the pay was a little worse. I get better healthcare, a much better retirement program, and sweet discounts on new Toyotas. Once I recover from this financial setback from divorce/legal/debt situation I'll be buying a brand new Tundra I literally helped build that'll comes strait off the assembly line with 0 miles on it.

This is gonna be me in a year or two:

Yea apparently it's really difficult to maintain records of citizens killed by police.

Almost as difficult as maintaining records of police killed by citizens.

well, this isn't just deaths of black people. this is deaths by law enforcement in general. I'm guessing it's something in police culture.

well i finally used G2A to buy a game. i've said how its kinda wrong to use this service, because they sell PC game keys for really cheap that are bought in other countries. this is "wrong" because local prices in certain countries are low for a reason, and if people from places like NA keep buying keys that were purchased from low-cost regions, it is either going to lead to local prices going away, or to region locking becoming more common on games (which is soooo bad, leads to not being able to play multiplayer with friends in other regions, can't travel with games, etc).

anyway. purchase was instant and easy. got a $50 game for $30. its gonna be hard to resist using this for everything from now on. but EVERYONES DOIN IT ANYWAY RIGHT??

if you use it, don't use G2A Pay. it signs you up for a subscription to their shield shit. just use regular payment

Just torrent all your single player games and buy all your multiplayer games. If there's a multiplayer patch for your game (see COD4) then torrent it. Unless you really want to support a developer, then buy their game.
