i just had a taco flavored pizza.

toppings:
onions
burger
hot peppers
black olives
corn chips

two thumbs up. i could really get used to this "lots of toppings" thing. esp since so many people are afraid of anything that isn't pepperoni or plain cheese. which means more pizza for me

I like the corn chips topping idea a + burgers sounds intriguing

I never eat pizza with any veggie toppings tho - I just won't do it and I never ever have

meh i coulda handled everything better. the remixing thing is very niche which is both good and bad. i'm good at it, but i'm terrible for business sense, and when you're doing such a niche thing where the companies barely know what a competitive price point is you gotta know how to market yourself and all. i shoulda had an agent as Peter told me long ago. the stuff on my channel should have all been sponsored so i wouldn't get strikes. moving to regular music will be better. i can just put my stuff on iTunes and hopefully spark some interest. i'm not really particularly standout at music now, but i'm improving quickly since i've never really taken it seriously enough. will be much harder for me to stand out with music though since there are a zillion people better at music than me already. i'll still do remixes when companies pay me to do them, just not doing them for free on Youtube anymore. at some point i'll probably make a junk account where i remix dumb shit but for now i'm happy to move away from remixing. oh and WeMash might get me some remixing work but they're still in their startup phase.

UKS theme was Gregory Bros, Richmond probably worked on it too though

fwiw I don't like his music at all and wish Tina Fey would stop using him, but he's her husband sooooo

you sure it was them? even on the video on their youtube page, they say that they just helped on the extended version

Quote:
Theme song by Jeff Richmond, extra writing & video assistance from us for this extended version

i bet they got paid to put it on their channel because it means that all their autotune-loving fans will be interested in that commercial

edit: yeah if you look at their comments they just "helped" (probably letting Jeff know what Melodyne settings to use / etc) and worked on the extended version.

And the turnkey solution was appreciated. “Seventy percent of our job is scouring websites like the Huffington Post and The Drudge Report, which is really a fate I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy,” says Evan Gregory, who plays keyboard and sings. “So to be directly sent such an amazing fake news report was shocking.”

He describes it as a “reverse engineered” song; he, Fey, and Carlock wrote it, then brought it to viral video crafters The Gregory Brothers.

“They had the themes or the chorus to the full song sketched out. They had some other phrases in there, and then they gave us just the uncut interview,” Michael Gregory tells EW, referring to the fake news clip on which the theme is based. “We could go and pick from that if we thought any phrase wasn’t in there yet. So I went in there and found some rhymes, and got them into another verse, and did some vocal work on everything.” According to Andrew Rose Gregory, The Gregory Brothers lucked out with Mike Britt, who plays Mr. Bankston, the Antoine Dodson-esque viral video star: “As far as unintentional singers go, Bankston is amazing. Just the timbre of his voice was excellent. His delivery was unbelievable.”

they're also credited on wiki but that doesn't mean as much I guess

hmm strange, so some sort of collab. yeah the style of vocal tuning is suspiciously close to the greg bros so that makes sense that they at least worked on that part of the song.
