omg youtube fixed the "add account" option thing. It has never worked since it was first introduced over a year ago when youtube made the layout change everyone hated. It was just a broken feature you couldn't ignore if you had more than one youtube account.. But woo! all my accounts are listed now!!

singing competitions are the most boring things on television. I don't understand what's exciting about them. Here's a few reasons:

a.) Who cares what the judges think of a singer? I care only what I think. I have ears. Isn't the prize usually a record contract of some kind? That would've raised the stakes 10+ years ago before internet downloads. Now even if a contestant doesn't win, they can still make a crapload of money just from being on TV. Not to mention they may even be offered a contract from a third party... which I think is what happened to Clay Aiken
b.) When American Idol started I thought it was going to be a fad. same with the first reality TV shows like Survivor. No, they are here to stay. So singing competitions are less exciting because of that.
c.) What is the point of covering a song when it's not a different genre or style from the original? Yeah I'm gonna tune in to watch someone who sounds just like Whitney Houston sing a Whitney Houston song. snore.
