of all of those im only subscribed to r/videos. in my opinion that is the best default subreddit. i enjoy maybe 10-15% of the posts there. that's actually a pretty high amount considering "videos" can be absolutely anything

oh im also subbed to r/documentaries. i should unsub though. i never watch them. at least there's usually pretty cynical/skeptical people commenting there, which is good since a lot of documentaries really are pushing a certain viewpoint. but you gotta look through the comments to find them

I forgot r/listentothis -- I can't believe so many people listen to music just because strangers suggest it. I've only listened to 20% of the songs in the "cool songs" thread and I've been talking to you guys for years.

Oh man, my job sucks. Just had a guy threatening to "smash my face into the concrete/cash register" because I wouldn't serve him booze. Fortunately security got there as we were closing, but this guy is a local bum who is always in and out of prison, and always creeping around the store when he's out, so I'll probably see him again soon.

do you still work at Wal-mart? I can't picture this happening anywhere else. F that place. I was only there for a few months but it sucked

Naw, the Walmart I used to work at was in the suburb that I live in, and it was super safe, but still totally soul-crushing because it's Walmart. Now I work at an independent corner liquor store in the hood, where, and I quote one of the customers, "all the worst alcoholics go." It's still less soul-crushing than Walmart though.
