Whaaaaa? I enjoyed Always the Bridesmaid. It's just a single series....I have bigger expectations for their next album.

Boring and samey. Valerie Plame is pretty good though.
Third sounds like someone just discovered Reason synths.

EDIT: Okay that was harsh. But I was expecting a lot more than what I got out of Third.

just played left 4 dead on 360 splitscreen, it looks and plays like CRAP compared to the PC version's splitscreen... so bad that I would consider it unplayable if it was like that on PC. The framerate can't be higher than like 9 frames a second on 360, and the game doesn't respond for a noticeable amount after you hit stuff on the controller. And splitscreen is UNSUPPORTED on PC, needs to be accessed through console! wtf.

This applies to not only ACDC, but basically to any band or artist that has been stuck in a rut for a series of albums. Putting Ryan Adams on a top 10 list at this point just means "I will put anything Ryan Adams releases", not that the album is actually worth a listen.
Of course, they do release the same sounding stuff, the riffs are always the same note but in different rhythm, though like you said putting Black Ice as a favourite album for this year just shows I'm an AC/DC fan, slight alternate aspects on why I enjoyed the album, not because of the music, I guess just facts that they are all pretty fucking old now and still were able to release an album that you could possibly compare to the likes of High Voltage or Back In Black, not by age but by the music sounding the same, just new lyrics and new solos. In ways it's both original and unoriginal, either way I love it.

Always The Bridesmaid isn't bad, it's just not that interesting. The only song I really like from it and think I'll listen to regularly is "Raincoat Song".

Ah yes, Mogwai - The Hawk is Howling, new M83, and new Nine Inch Nails I liked as well.

Might as well add this now that I'm listening to it:

Jóhann Jóhannsson - Fordlândia
