Its not a fucking problem. Forum posts addressing nobody are not a problem. There is no net gain or loss. There are multiple tools to literally erase him from the site if it really bothers you SO MUCH. On a side note, the origins of this community are constantly used as a stick to beat people who disagree with certain members or the way the site deals with them. "Don't like this guy? Well, get you. Mr Forum For A Kids Game wants an exclusive club."

Anyone who wants to discuss 3dmm (mostly new members, including children, that we miraculously accumulate) does so in the dedicated forums. Most of the community, however, has moved on, and the site functions as a place for us to still come together, despite losing an interest in the reason we joined in the first place.

This is a community once brought together by 3dmm, not one still centred around it. The fact that the forum was once dedicated to our use of a kids game is irrelevant, and bringing it up misses the point.

But what is so wrong about excluding him from the group? It won't affect him in any way. He will just move on, like he does with everything. Your only reason to keep him here is "because banning him is nasty", and that's simply not good enough.

Saying he's "different from the rest of us" is a disingenuous way of putting it, too. He's not just a slightly weird dude. His posts are on another planet. They have nothing to do with anything else anyone posts.

You don't know anything about him. Not only is he friends with various 3dmmers on facebook, there are enough people who genuinely enjoy engaging with him on here to justify his presence. I know this because I've actually been asked multiple times to remove certain members from the group I made that obstructs visibility of his new threads. They actually want to see his posts! So he definitely has friends here, or at least people who are friendly to him, and just because you're not one of them doesn't make him "useless". I'm sorry if that reasoning isn't good enough for you, but it is for me.

His posts are partially a result of how we have responded to him. We laughed at his Larry Craig obsession and still continue to make jokes about it ourselves. Due to his autism, he rarely understands when we're laughing at him vs with him. He just posts what he thinks will get the biggest reaction from us, and appears happy doing so. I won't ban him for that.
