yesterday in a 15/20-minute period at work:

- an old man who had been muttering to himself for two hours started threatening and yelling at a total stranger sat near him and eventually had to be restrained and thrown out by an off-duty cop who happened to be drinking here
- another drunk man got into an argument with the cop because he thought he was out of order because he didn't tell him he was a cop or grabbed his arm too hard or something. i dunno it was so stupid the dude was screaming his head off and refusing to leave and the cop who kicked him out was basically a hero
- someone tried to steal one of our mop buckets
