Last part of this post to vent, I had two seizures last night. I was thinking about updating the "epilepsy megathread" I made but I thought that thread seemed like a cry for attention or something and didn't wanna push that back on everybody's pages. Its crazy because I even knew this was gonna happen, I've been getting less and less sleep since my son was born. Monday-Tuesday night I basically got no sleep at all. I went into work on Tuesday telling my wife I was feeling bad, I even wrote myself a note yesterday at 7:15 saying "I might have a seizure."

What really pisses me off about this whole ordeal is I just recently had a meeting with our company's vice president (the guy who hired me). I work for a contractor so I work on Fort Sam Houston but my employer is headquartered in DC, and they have an office suite in San Antonio, so I don't see my direct boss every day. I have a supervisor but he's a contractor for a different company, they're supposed to be "sister companies" but they don't talk as much as they should. Anyways, I got called in because I had taken too much time off. We have a Paid Time Off balance and on their website it wasn't keeping track of our balance. Anyways, I didn't take off enough time to put me in the negative and I even asked the Vice President to double check my hours before my paternity leave. He approved me for two weeks off (ten business days) and didn't say anything about my leave being bad. Anyways, we just had this meeting I brought up the times where I took an extended period of time off work (2 days or more) were only when I first bought my house back in April and when I had seizures in March and this last August. They stated it didn't matter if I took full days off or whatever, it was just if I had total amount of hours off...and now if I have to take any time off for medical reasons it will be unpaid, and if I have any unpaid time off for medical reasons I can still be terminated. Its incredibly frustrating because my body is so sore and I can't fucking take any time off. I'm also in such a mental fog after my seizures and I feel like I want a couple days to get back to normal, for example when my alarm for work went off this morning I thought it was Sunday. This stuff is incredibly frustrating and sorry if this post seems whiny or whatever I just wanted a place to vent.
