i feel like i can't judge because i grew up with the SNES one, but i do like the SNES ones more. SNES soundtracks just tend to sound more epic because of the completely different synths that were usually used on them.

i used to get stoned with my friend and play NBA Jam all the time, and i'd get down to the bass in this one:

Homeland is good, but I don't get the hype.

Speaking of soundtracks, a group of students finally did a live orchestration of my favorite game music of all time. Gave me on hell of an eargasm.

The SNES was far superior in terms of music, the sound chip had 64K SRAM while the Genesis only had 8K. The Genesis had a metallic thang to it which fit with all the SEGA games on it, but on third party games like DOOM, it really bloody sucked...

You could do a lot more music wise on the SNES.

I think giant rings around the earth would have a very profound effect on the course of history, so in all likelihood Washington DC and the white house wouldn't exist. Cool tho!

Planetary rings would certainly make navigating the globe a lot easier. Fuck this "find the north star" shit. Rings would make things so easy. Compasses would be completely unecessary

I did some minor work on Genesis ROMS, it really is fucking limited and hey if you are an artist for sure you can pull of the tracks way better, but it will still sound out of place due to the shitty Texas Instruments synth.
