Yes, yes it is. Last time I waited about an hour and a half and finally gambled on the only franchise in a 40mi area, a Subway/gas station. Wrong choice.

Now my bike serves as a recharging station for my mobile electronics. I noticed how the front cupholder makes a good cell phone caddy for stationary recharging.

I try to glorify less mainstream use of our commodities, and I set lots of examples. I tend to glorify things that are underrated but honest, rather than things that are insulting.

wouldn't it be more efficient to charge your electronics from the wall rather than kill a charge cycle of your battery?

Didn't you ever think that inherent resources for off-grid vehicle electronics can also serve a secondary role on the grid once in a while. I went through so much elbow grease just to see if composite headlights from an older car could function as bicycle headlights too years ago, of which is why I want to ensure I get my money's worth for these pilot projects for bicycle ownership.

Right, but you're killing the life of your battery, as it has a finite amount of charge cycles. I understand that you want to use your sweet bike to charge your ipod, but you're honestly wasting that deep-cycle marine battery.

Also why are you bitching about the tiny iPod nano getting discontinued when you already have one?
