I WILL DO NO SUCH THING.

Felt really rushed or something. She should have stayed with only having her air bending ability. The big impact of her losing her abilities kinda got killed instantly and it's like... well... everything is peachy... nothing to do now. Unless they're doing a "season 1 enemy, season 2 enemy, etc." thing?

They didn't get the order for the following seasons until well after they were done with production for the first, which is evident in the pacing throughout the entire season.

Ultimately, they were worried they wouldn't get renewed or end up in some sort of Limbo like they did with Last Airbender, so they tried to create and resolve an entire conflict in 12 episodes and it really shows.

I think when the show originally aired, they showed that episode first. So when the flashbacked to the first episode, the gag about doing a flashback episode after only one season was ruined.
