thats why i had the most fun when it was still in alpha stage and we would flood our entire subway system from just digging up into 1 block of water in a bathtub. it was just so silly and fun. the new additions cause me to focus on them because i find them interesting, but in the end i have less silly fun.

i just wish liam had kept the original server up. if we were all playing on one CONSISTENT server that would be great. id love to come back to a server 6 months down the line and find all this cool stuff people had done.

i wish i still had the picture of the FFIV mog sprite i did, i was well chuffed with that, the only pic i have of things i did was the strip club where the entrance is the vagina of a huge woman, at least it was more original than the mog i guess

ugh yeah

that would have kept me coming back. instead every person that started a server started a brand new world (yeah i did the same thing). i really wish i could return to where we started out. i still remember how that world was set up on liam's first server.

I feel like I massively missed out on 3dmm.com Minecraft. There servers people have got going now are cool and all but all the screenshots and stories I've seen from the original server are amazing. I didn't have the game at that point, I think.

Well, with the original server I believe we were just using the free browser based alpha client.
But yeah, that was amazingly good fun. Building our city, the subway, the sky bridge, the flood. The Mall Lizard and I built, and the Pixel Cave I built in secret beneath it; I fucking miss that server.

It was awesome because it wasn't survival mode or any of that crap - it was pure creation. I nearly bought Minecraft the other day, but it's like AU$30.00or something stupid. I'd pay $10.00 at most for it.

I've just tried to but after playing LA Noire this feels one step away from uncanny valley. Especially the guy who plays Cole Phelps, he's pretty much the same exact mannerisms and it freaks me out.
