Haha, have you seen any of the Behind The Scenes on the DVD? There are some takes on there that are unbelievably bad. Think of when a business uses its in-store employees for their TV ads instead of actors and then imagine something a whole lot worse.

lol i've never seen that. I do remember one scene in particular where queen amidala asks him if he's a slave and he says "'im a person, and my name is Anakin!" and the delivery just makes me cringe, but hen again the dialogue is so bad that even the seasoned actors end up sounding really stupid.

Haha, on the DVD there's a bit of fly-on-the-wall footage from when they filmed the scene where they're all eating in Anakin's house. Qui-Gon has a line that goes "I can see there's no fooling you, Anakin. We're on our way to Coruscant, the central system in the Republic on a very important mission," and Anakin just butts in before the line is even over and goes "Coruscant?!" and Liam Neeson has to improvise and go "Coruscant, yes".

Then there are some other takes of the same scene where he weirdly starts pronouncing the second C in Coruscant (so, like "Coruskant") and then whenever he's not got a line he's just messing about with the food in his bowl and not even looking at the people who are talking to him. So then they stop rolling and George Lucas is like "Hey, Jake. If the food is distracting you, we can take it away" trying not to be annoyed. Haha, really awkward to watch but pretty funny.

AHA man this takes me way back... when i was like 12/13 my first ever video i edited was "commando john" where we did something similar. Made a dummy out of army gear and used a ripped 3dmm film soundtrack and gunshots, throwing it out of windows and that while me parents were in work.
