every time im working on a project that i keep changing after thinking its done i end up with this wacky line of folders and titles, its not meant to be humorous but its just the easiest quick way for me to keep marking the latest ones

current project:

-Export
--ellie.mov
--ellie_full_alpha.mov
--ellie2.mov
---ellie_fin
----ellie_fin.mov
---FINALIZING
----ellie final project.mov
----absolut final

haha i am terrible with naming things

one of mine is this:

PAGES
FINALPAGES
SERIOUSLYFINAL
UNF

those are the folders since the work is a ton of comic pages, the files for each page themselves start off okay with 2a 2b etc, but then it ends up all 2bbbb 2bbbbagain 2bbbbagain2 2bbbbagain2FINAL etc

I was being kinda facetious, a full revision control system is probably overkill for like, media files haha, and they weren't designed for that. but you COULD in theory.

A question better suited for the nerdy likes of me is what VCS HAVEN'T I used? haha. I've mostly used git, and on a past job I used ClearCase and a little bit of Visual SourceSafe but both were piles of shit. I've also toyed with cvs, and I've used svn quite a lot too (both on command line and with tortoise). Oh yeah I fucked around with hg and tfs for fun a couple times but never actually used them for a project so I'm not sure of their pros/cons.

The American Humane Association monitored the filming of scenes involving Brooks' crow. During the scene where he fed it a maggot, the AHA objected on the grounds that it was cruel to the maggot, and required that they use a maggot that had died from natural causes. One was found, and the scene was filmed.

Reiner wanted Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise to play Red and Andy respectively.

Frank Darabont preferred to end the film with Red searching for Andy. In fact, if he had been allowed to shoot the ending as he wanted, the closing shot would have been Red on the bus heading for the field. Darabont wanted to end on an open, ambiguous note. But Castle Rock insisted on a reunion between the two to please audiences. So instead of showing us a teary reunion, the film observes it from a distance. Darabont's response to Castle Rock's demands.
