The only thing that interests me about the GTA series is the sandboxy open-world fun you can have. The storylines are usually really bad and the missions are repetitive and unbalanced. It's super fun to just mess about in the city though.

Saints Row 2 is probably my favourite for that. But San Andreas is still easily my favourite. People who like Vice City more are British or wrong.

it's kinda the whole package for me. I thought IV's story was really disappointing, didn't particularly care for many of the characters, and the friends system was a boring grind. DLC packs were pretty nice though.

and yeah, san andreas was the best one.

could they have picked a less Grand Theft Auto-looking screenshot?

Looks more like a screenshot from Big Mouth Bass Fishing Simulator

I like the environment of Vice City a lot more but San Andres is by and far the much better more fun game

Yeah, I agree. SA is the best GTA, and "city roamer". MTA is ridiculously good fun, too.

I hope V steps away from IV, which is easily my least favourite of the GTAs. Awesome city, zero fun to be had in it.

GTA IV was by far my most favourite GTA. I hope V steps more in that direction.

I far preferred Vice City, though I'm British. So I guess that covers that.

Really? Bjerg, lay it on me. What did it do for you? I always feel like I'm missing something with GTA IV - I just don't "get it".

I just enjoyed the characters, the story, the environment, the multiplayer- everything really. In SA though, I felt the story was sort of... Stupid. I had a hard time sympathizing for CJ, though it was easy to understand Nico and why he did the shit he did.

Vice City is my favourite for so many reasons that I'd have to make a uber-long boring post

CJ:
Everything I've left behind in this city is now awful. My old crew is nothing but a bunch of gang bangers and dealers, some asshole cop runs the city, and everyone fucking hates him.

Nico:
I NEED MAHNEY, CAHSIN.

Uh yeah, you need money. That's essential to survival. What's wrong with that?

That's just like as if I said:

CJ:
I needa kill drug dealers 'n sheeit

Nico:
My country is torn apart by war, so I left it to live with my cousin in Liberty City to lead a normal life, only to have myself dragged into gangs

Det finns saker jag saknar
Typ när vi var nakna
Nu brinner din tavla
Nu ligger dina kläder ute på gatan
Och jag går i dagar
I tröjan du hatar
