whats considered the CLASSICS

like 4-6? i want to just start with the best or i'll probably lose interest, i have trouble sticking with cartoons for some reason

the only episode i remember seeing was "homer at bat" and i laughed out loud a few times

I would just start with Season 1, and know that it takes a little while to hit its stride. I'd say 4-8 is prime Simpsons, though.

Yes, I recommend starting with season 1 or season 2 (season 2 is my favorite of the entire show, though most people disagree with me).

Season 3 is my favourite season of the Simpsons, and 3-7 are basically incredible. 8 is great, but not as consistent as those, though it has some of the best episodes (Homer's Enemy, You Only move Twice).

I love season 1 and 2, especially 2, but a lot of people would say that it doesn't really pick up until season 3.
