2012

Exclusive clip from 'visionary' director Roland Emmerich's latest film, 2012. Hysterical.

Some people just like to watch the world burn.

Interesting how the huge gorge just so happened to be in a perfect line with the runway

hahah, so silly. I saw the trailer for the first time last night.

I can't help but think of this whenever I see clips of it:

That wife is PRETTY damn annoying.

I also like how the ground always collapses at the exact same rate that their select vehicle is going.

Hahahah that trailer is awesome. That's cheating though, saying it makes you think of a clip from the same movie.

I'm guessiing its because movies are usually filmed there, and directors/producers think that it's the center of the universe.

what the hell is John Cusack doing? Am I making this up or did he use to have a reputation as a guy who was very selective about roles?

You're an actor. Someone comes to you offering a boatload of money to be in a movie that is almost guaranteed to be a hit. You get to travel the world, get put on billboards as an action star, and even if the movie fails, no one will blame you and there will be no repercussions whatsoever. You'll simply go back to being in the indie dramas and low budget comedies to which you are accustomed.

Can you honestly say you'd refuse that?

I don't think so. Also, I'm sure he made bank on this movie and that's as selective as anyone really needs to be.

EDIT - meant to be posted before Ivan's.

I think the most hilarious part was when they were trying to play it off as dramatic! as a giant donut rolls past them.

That is a pretty epic scene. I can only imagine what the effects budget for that film was.

Emmerich has a lot of apologising to do after I sat through 10,000 BC.
And The Day After Tomorrow really wasn't as good as I had hoped, so my expectations for this movie are quite low. I'll give it a viewing, though.
