I tested the psp, ps2, and ps3 versions of Madden 10 for about 4 months. I don't know if the bug you're talking about occurs on the versions I tested, but I know I submitted at least 5 bugs regarding fumble recoveries and everytime they fixed it a new issue would surface somewhere else a few weeks later. This occurred all the way through late beta and they eventually just ran out of time to fix all of the interface problems.

my biggest complaint is that they expect you to drop $50 a year to buy a new madden
why can't they just make downloadable roster updates for $5 or so each season dammit, I'm still playing Madden 06

I thought EA has roster updates within a day of a change? Maybe that was just for NHL. Cuz I know the hockey games have instant roster updates, instead of waiting each month to get them.

Wow, I know for a fact that the bug about not being able to win fumble recoveries was submitted and fixed early in alpha. Last time I checked it was working on the playstation versions, but maybe they never fixed it on xbox. I can't believe THAT got through. The way I became a tester is because EA opened a new testing center (NATC) on the LSU college campus and were basically looking to hire lots of students who needed part time jobs that were flexible with their school schedules. They also had full time openings, but I decided to do it part time @ 33 hours a week. The job only pays 7.50 an hour, but it is still a great job compared to working somewhere like McDonalds or Wal-Mart. The testing center consists of a bunch of rooms with rows and rows of gaming consoles and computers. You basically just sit at a station all day, play through different parts of the game / find bugs, and then submit the reports to a database through a computer. Really easy work compared to working @ other low paying jobs. I tested an online fps this week and the only requirement was to "play through different game modes on different servers" and write down the stats. Most projects run about 2-4 months. Right now I am testing NCAA Basketball 10 and we're about to wrap it up after 3 months. The game is incredibly shitty though, don't buy it.

I don't think they continue offering them after the next game in the series has come out

I like it. I like how you can cause the QB to duck a pass by hitting him at the right time. causes a lot of sick D lineman pick 6's.

They also excluded a play designer feature on the ps3 version because they want more people to buy the psp version and then transfer the plays from the psp to the ps3. Their reasoning for that is to "push more units" (make more money).

Why do you buy the same game every year?
Is there anything to justify getting 10 rather than 9 or 8 or 7?

Well 7 ate 9 so maybe not that one

Well what new fucking features could possibly make me want to play that game, again, in that case? I don't really get what else they can contribute after so many games is all. New controls I can only guess right?

I can maybe understand new features but if you care about rosters then you might as well just replace words on an Excel sheet every year. I'm not a fanatic though so I just don't understand the excitement.

Its the first version I've liked on the 360 (I had been playing 2006 on PS2 until now). I like how you can stay in the pocket to pass and not have to aimlessly run around like past years. I also like how there are some games where you can do no wrong, and some games where you can do nothing right.

There's a few Madden annoyances (Cornerbacks who kick it into turbo to catch up to ANY open receiver) but 2010 is the best version in years.

why write 2k10
2010 is same amount of letters and in some contexts the same amount of syllables
