Strom and Varick (Full Season) Voice Actor Search

IMPORTANT: This movie is in German. I am standing firm on that, and I will not be convinced to do otherwise. You don't need to be fluent in German to voice act for this movie though, you just need to be able to fake-speak German. I'll provide you with the lines, German and translated English (so you know what you're saying) and that's how that will work. You won't receive any lines until, most likely, early November. Late October by the earliest. This is because Strom and Varick is tied to the release of v3dmm.

Choose a character from the list below that you are interested in. I have provided a German and English translated line for each character. Say the line, and send/post a sample. I only need one actor per character, unless otherwise noted. All characters are male, except for Death and random townsfolk. The size of a role is indicated to the right of their name:

(L) - Large
(M) - Medium
(S) - Small

Roter Adler Company

Manfred von Richthofen (L)

Leader and founder of the Roter Adler company. Decendant of the Red Baron. Has a dark background in flying. Very bossy towards Strom and Varick.

"Erhalten Sie das Bumsen aus meinem Hangar heraus und finden Sie den Ursprung dieses Gaunerbedrängnisanrufs."

ENG - Get the fuck out of my hangar and find the origin of that rogue distress call.

Strom (L)

Gunner of the main plane for the Roter Adler company. He loves guns and weapons of the sort, but isn't a very bright guy, even with guns. He has a keen eye though, and perfect aim.

"Oh Scheiße, Varick, kommen schnell! Ich denke, daß ich das Gamecube brach!"

ENG - Oh shit, Varick, come quick! I think I broke the Gamecube!

Varick (L) [Jorrit Stuifmeel]

Pilot of the main plane. Good friends of Strom, even though they have completely opposite personalities. Varick likes books, puzzles, and flying. Smart guy.

Ninja

Ninja is the mechanic for the Roter Adler company. He can fix anything in no time, and make an entire plane in even less. He doesn't speak.

Felix (S) [Pizza the Hut]

Shy, scared by everything, lives in a corner. A tramuatic event left him paralyzed with fear.

Arnulf Leiter (L)

Leader and founder of the Blaue Klinge company. Doesn't speak often, and seems to never yell at his men, but they obey his every word like it was a threat.

"Wir scheinen Besucher zu haben... beachten Sie sie."

ENG - We seem to have visitors... attend to them.

Blaue Klinge members (M) [Buzvonlurt] [Evil Ash]

(Two or three voices needed). Various pilots and gunners of the company.

Colony Inhabitants

Volker Schroeder (M) [Beast]

Leader of the colony in which the Roter Adler company resides.

Rüdiger Stryker (M) [Cowtacular Spleen]

Old friend of Manfred. Rather zany fellow, with a morbid sense of humour.

Townsfolk (S) [Buzvonlurt] [Evil Ash]

FEMALE AND MALE (One female, two males should suffice). Various people living in the colony.

"Nizza, zum Sie wieder zu sehen, Manfred"

ENG - Nice to see you again, Manfred.

Death (L)

For this, I need a female voice. Death leads the reapers, gatherer of souls, and tends to the dead.

Xaphan (L) [Ramza Brave]

Overlord demon of the realm of the dead. Unexplainably escaped from the realm and is waging war on Earth.

Reapers (S) [Molotov]

Harvesters of souls, guides to the dead. Servants of Death.

Watchers

Commanders of the undead armies of Xaphan. Don't speak.

Skeleton Horde (S) [Nick Tonic] [Evil Ash]

(Two or three actors needed) Undead aviation forces of Xaphan.

Zombie Horde (S)

Undead ground unit of Xaphan.

"Verbinden Sie uns!"

ENG - Join us!

Thank you for your consideration. I really need to get a good amount of voice actors for this to work. Don't be scared off by the German, give it a try. If you think it sounds like shit, then don't post it, but send it to me anyways. I may just like it.

Woohoo! Finally! Well, I'd like to take a shot at Varick, I think my voice suits him..that is if you want him to sound a bit semi-cynical.
Can't do that sample line right now I'm afraid, it's the middle of the night, but I'll try and get it done first thing tomorrow.

You've got some grammar issues in the sample lines. None of your past tense sentences are actually in past tense, unless I'm totally wrong.

This is a world in which all races (except the Jews) have been turned German, so British German wouldn't really be a bad thing, it'd add to the atmosphere.

As for the pronounciation thing... only like, five people will notice. Just, don't decide not to act because you think it'll sound silly. I'll be the judge of that!

Actually no I'll try out anyway. Later. I'll aim for an M part, probably Rüdiger Stryker then. The movie looks good but German isn't something I've even attempted in a good 8 years, and even then I was just mucking with a 'learn German' book that we have lying around. I don't promise much, I'll go find some example german sounds somewhere to practice off of.

I'm interested in playing one of these charcters, But can you give me additional information on there lines (e.g. how many lines they have and are they particullarly ddifficult lines)
I'm just asking cause I'm not a strong reader at german, but I can read the lines for these characters just fine.
