haha, Iike how it kept to the "Danny Mears" genre! Probably my favourite movie of yours. Loved the lighting effects!

This was really great. I didn't know it was made by you, and was like, "wow, this really feels like a Danny Mears movie", and then your name is displayed in the credits. Well done.

By the way, do you still have First Day of the Rock Man? We wanted to nominate for the awards, but couldn't find a copy of it anywhere.

I liked it, thought it was kind of interesting. One thing, though, its starting to bug me hearing happy music from 1920's-1930's portrayed in movies and stuff and meant to be creepy; its undeniably effective but way overused.

We associate it with the elderly, who naturally radiate creepiness.

That was really nicely done, by the way.

The WMV would be best. Upload it to a temporary uploader like rapidshare or someplace like that, and I'll download it and host it for you.

Love the lighting and the animation. Motion capture?
The plot was to obscure for me

7/10

I've been wanting to see someone do lighting effects like this for ages. Your shots were sweet too and had a comicbook meets photography feel to them. Good work.

Ah, Rman, Tuna, you bring back memories.

Anyway, i have two things to say (I was suprised to get two comments in such a short time of my computer crashing 0.o)

1. Very nice short. Good use of texture. I think i recognised the song at the end.

2. I was scuffling through my disk pile yesterday and saw the 3DMM disk. Yeah, memories came flooding back. In case you're wondering why i quit in the first place, i simply gave in.
I've got the disk in now, ready to re-upload it onto my new, improved computer.

Now the major part.
I've hit puberty since i left (lawl xD). For the people who hated the old Ross Marlow - which is quite a few of you- he's gone, i've matured (see above).
For those who LIKED the old Ross Marlow (I got an email from somebody who did 0.o), i'm going to disappoint you . I'll re-upload everything, possibly make some more movies of my own and review other people's movies. Like it or lump it, i'm back.

Also SORRY Teleface for using your thread. Hope you forgive me.

EDIT: By re-upload, i mean 3DMM :3

Teleface you are getting better and better at this stuff. I don't know if I'm super-clever and actually getting it, or [more likely] it's more open to interpretation and what I "get from" it is in fact an insight into myself.

Either way it's 3DMM and holy fuck it's also ART. Proper, bonafide ART.

edit: I'd love to see an even longer 'narrative' or 'journey' in this style, of course I imagine it wouldn't exactly be linear, but a meandering "story" of one of your characters could, potentially, be incredibly powerful. Keep up the good work.

This is truly fantastic, I seriously seriously dig your style of creating a "narrative". I was a big fan of your stuff as Danny Mears and this is even MORE expressive than that was. And oh my god the effects you used were excellent, the lighting in particular. Basically what Cubert said, more of the same but BIGGER.
