The most insulting part of this project is I had never even read the book.

URL short enough to fit in field: http://tinyurl.com/4mr8tv

however I can no longer edit it since I am no longer listed as this scenario's author

I don't want this preserved. It's awful. Then again, anyone can put whatever they want up. But you're not missing anything if you haven't seen this.

The description is misleading. This is an attempt at making a musical on 3dmm. There was a metal album I liked when I was a teenager that is based on a Tolkien book, although it doesn't tell one concrete story. So what I wanted to do was animate every song (presumably) and have the characters sing out the lyrics.

So it's a bunch of handmade characters 'mouthing' bad heavy metal lyrics and for the most part they're just kind of there because the songs are long and they're not narrating action or anything and so the characters aren't really doing much of anything. I think after I did a song (or at least part of a song) I realized there was no way this would ever work, so I quit.

Haha I never heard of this until now. Andres that is hilarious. I mean... I still love Blind Guardian and listen to them in adulthood, so there's that... but I would have loved to see this, haha.

Which song was in the movie?

Into The Storm. I think I was only able to animate until maybe the end of the first chorus. It's mostly ... um, Morgoth or whoever the bad guy is supposed to be in that book, just kinda... hangin' out, summonin' beasts, singin'.

Some of my ideas for 3dmm movies were so bad, haha.

Seeing that screenshot makes me realize just how funny 3dmm is, it's like it makes sense when you're using it but when you've been away from it for years everything just looks like shaded balls.

Hahaha,I remember downloading this because I was super into LOTR and didn't read the description and then being like "What the fuck is this?" when they started singing.
