It is an interesting idea, if not entirely apparent from watching the movie.

It's incredibly difficult to pull off abstract movies in 3D Movie Maker, as it is so unnatural, but this is definitely a good one.

One thing it definitely has going for it is that it's so short, that you feel compelled to watch it again, just for the ride.

Sorry, but I didn't like this. There were a couple of interesting shots, but otherwise it was pretty lame. It doesn't work well as serious or as a spoof (I can't really tell).

If it wasn’t for the cartoony nature of 3DMM and Gustave’s permanent smile, it would be allot easier to know whether or not to take it seriously.

Too abstract for me to be intrigued, really.

Interesting. I don't really get it though. This should have elaborated more into into whatever idea it was trying to communicate. Way too short.

3/10

Though I'm still curious

Alright, but not too interesting. Also very short. Probably won't watch it twice.

Felt like an interesting start that doesn't go anywhere. I'm not opposed to abstract movies by any means, but give me enough to work with, you know? Hold my attention and show me something that's not just compelling, but resolves itself. This felt like you stopped because you ran out of time, not like you chose to end it where you did.

Consider expanding on it, wondering what it's about and where it would "logically" go in your mind.

Yeah agreed with the last 2 posts, COOL IDEAS, but yeah it was WAYY short, although understandably if you made it longer i'm guessing it wouldn't have made the fest.

It was off to a great start, i'd seriously consider going back to this and maybe making it longer and re-release at a later date, i'm INTRIGUED

Thanks for the comments, all.

Yeah I agree about it being so short. Dan, you were right, I just started it too late in comparison to the fest that I couldn't get much more. But I didn't plan on this being an end, but only a beginning (cue matrix music).

I do plan on making more installments to this idea. It will be a series of sorts, but not exactly contiguous or linear. But they will connect, in the end. In fact, this loosely connects with something I've already released on these boards. But that will only be more apparent if I keep this "world" going.

I would have liked to seen this prolonged. Like the bizarre inner workings on the Idea Machine, and the movie it makes, kinda thing.

Neat concept, but felt unfinished and rough.

I recieved the impression that you were showing a concept of how actors were picked. I thought it was neat, though, like everyone else here, a little short. It was good though. I think I may find an interest in the future movies to be produced.

Had that good "wtf" feel, but the end kinda ruined the wtf and just made me think of lazy. I thought this was going to be a Boohbah commercial or something.

I see what was trying to be done, but I thought it needed a touch more to it. I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10

It had a nice atmosphere, but like everyone else said, it was too abstract to make any sense to me. If by 'a series of sorts' you mean a bunch of different clips like this that on their own make no sense but do when linked together, then that will be really interesting if you pull it off right.

Yeah, that's somewhat like I was thinking.
